I really like Martin guitars and still own several.  One guitar that Martin made few of in their 175+ years of existence is Koa bodied 45-style 12 strings so I decided to build one
on speculation.  This guitar features some of the most beautiful Koa wood I've ever seen.  I purchased it while in Hawaii in 2008.  The fretboard is premium ebony and I've inlaid it in the 45 tradition of vintage Martin's "snowflake" pattern and did my own fern pattern on the double bound headstock; both in select abalone.  The guitar will be available in late Fall with a custom Ameritage case for $5,900.00.  Email if you're interested in reserving this guitar.
