TRADE-INS for Roberts Luthiery Original Instruments

The current economy has presented many of us with financial challenges.  As a result I have been asked by a number of my clients whether or not I would consider the trade of another instrument or other item as either partial or full payment.  The answer is "definetely maybe"!  I don't run a retail store so unless I know of someone that wants a particular instrument  or want it myself for collecting purposes making a trade work can be a challenge.  Having the "right" item for a trade can make things easy however.  Usually I can find a "home" for three kinds of items: higher-end Martin guitars, Gibson F-Style Mandolins, and genuine Rolex watches.  Items considered for trade must be in excellent condition and proof of ownership is required.
